On the East coast, the RN5 is to be repaired

It is great news for those who wish to discover Madagascar. The RN5 links many great balneal villages and cities starting from Toamasina to Foulpointe, Soanierana Ivongo, Mananara and Maroantsetra. For years now, tourists had to limit their exploration at Foulpointe to have a nice stay on the beaches. The road to more remote locations was really bad. Because a tough rain season, it is best to travel to this region from April to November, avoiding the too warm climate of some western cities.
