Online sales: Orange Madagascar launches e-Vidy

Orange Madagascar launches an online sale service called e-Vidy (literal synonym of e-buy). Thus, users of this mobile operator can now buy articles and multimedia accessories directly online by logging onto the website e-vidy.orange.mg and by using a quick payment process via Orange Money.

Online products are sold exclusively to connected customers who can order online their items and then collect them in an Orange agency of their choice. For now, only Orange agencies located in Ampasamadinika, in Tanjombato, in Ankorondrano, and in Andraharo are available for the collection of purchased items. But next week, the service will be available in the city of each province of Madagascar. In the future, the company expects to perform home delivery of items purchased online and hopes to be able to sell products other than its own. It is to be noted that such process is still very recent in Madagascar.

Moreover, for this internationally renowned mobile operator, its Malagasy subsidiary is the first to launch online sales in Africa, the Middle East and Asia.
