The 16 months long political crisis is starting to bother a fringe of the armed forces. The men in military lattice have lost their unique common voice.

Political crisis: Some soldiers beginning to roar

According to military sources, the joint chief of headquarters, general André Ndriarijaona, would be in for following his führer’s propositions, Andry Rajoelina, but many more others are not.

On the other hand, officers and non commissioned officers from the national state police’s intervention forces (FIGN) radically required a “military committee” to be ruling the country. So did militaries from Ivato airbase’s intervention forces, regarding the political class’s inefficiency in the crisis’ settlement.

Commander Roger Luc, a long time lone rider no more affiliated to the High Authority of Transition, is starting to put up an increasingly threatening profile. He called his “peers” not to remain Rajoelina’s puppets, as the later can esclusively stand by the armed forces support to reach the transition’s end on top. A half military half civilian government would be his personal best possible happy ending. Too bad that all of the militaries do not have it his way.

The so wanted united army is now short from turning into a war zone. Things can unpredictably sway from one side to the other. The political crisis’ outcome is more than uncertain
