Rising fuel prices

Fuel prices have now overtaken the psychological threshold of 3000 Ariary. A liter of premium costs now 3040 Ariary, 3020 for normal fuel and 2530 for diesel. Urban transport fees have not been changing since 2001. In the capital city, a lift has been costing 300 Ariary.  Nothing is no more to be held for granted, now that fuel consumer prices have risen.
