The political basis to the required restoration of the rule of law gets larger and larger with every passing week. Some fourty associations, trade unions and political groups jointly accepted to support the impulse created by Professor Raymond Ranjeva, former judge at the international court of The Hague. Regional associations equally emulated, and more and more Parliament members individually decide to join the common front as well

The progressively erected and strenghened platform might well be likely to become one more significant force to reckon with on the political chessboard. The main target is the recovery of the rule of law, considering that the ruling “wild state” happens to jeopardize the nation’s very social, economic and political foundations. The platform’s actions will be defined once its structure clearly takes shape. A meeting is being scheduled this week following the public conference given on the week before. The former vice president of the International Court took by then the opportunity to launch his solemn call upon support for his full engagement into the search for a long term solution to the crisis which has been devastating the country for four years.
