Telma Foundation: its website goes on line

Created by Telma Group in 2011, Telma Foundation was established in order to help Madagascar overcome the different social, economical and environmental challenges. The foundation wants to be an innovative and ingenious vehicle for achieving the company’s sponsorship goals in the social and humanitarian fields.   

The foundation chose to concentrate its sponsorship activities around 7 main lines, including: health, education, assistance to children and youth, environment, sustainable development, humanitarian aid and new technology.

In 2011, the foundation already carried out a number of projects in collaboration with both its old and new partners. These projects include:

§  Partnership ATD Quart Monde: Training on IT tools and computer hardware and professional patronage

§  Annual partnership with Lions Club Analamanga: Smile Operation

§  Partnership with Association Heart for Madagascar: health mission and transfer of skills

§  Partnership with WWF: Program of low energy consumption lamps

§  Street kids partnership “Zazagasy project”: construction of a re-schooling training center of poor children

§  Partnership with Ny Sahy Association: “Dance 261 and Grassroots”, a sensitization campaign, through sports and dance, among local youth about the harmful effects of drugs, alcohol and nicotine
