Though failing from being economic with comments either about the legalistic reactionary Ambroise Ravonison's capture conditions or about his condemnation, the HAT and its government are holding it as a casual event. But it is not. As a matter of fact, this incident is hammering the last nail in the coffin of the regime's democracy champion reputation. Colonel Ravalomanana were far from enough.

The Ambroise Ravonison case: something unjustifiable not yet swallowed

Arrested on May 15th, 2010, Ambroise Ravonison was investigated by the public prosecutor, and quickly sent behind bars. For not being part of the dangerous opponents, he has escaped the penitentiary of Tsiafahy, but not the Antanimora prison. He has apparently been charged for blasphemy against the HAT leader, allegedly publicly named “little Hitler”. His capture definitely failed from matching a democratic country’s police standards. Violence has been unnecessarily used, although methods are not yet any match for those used by the Gestapo, the terrifying Nazi secret police which unleashed against its own people. The colonel Richard Ravalomanana has, so far, been the single transitional authority’s representative to have strained to justify the force demonstration led inside the Frequence Plus radio station’s facilities located in the 67 Ha, on Saturday evening, May 15th, 2010. According to him, the concerned police forces in mission had a letter from court, something supposed to be a warrant. The radio station’s people are all denying any presentation of any paper to have taken place by that time. Doubts are, therefore, duly allowed even if the Emmo Reg Analamanga’s commander proudly presented the document in press conference… on the following day. Colonel Ravalomanana was trying to find an excuse for his elements led storming commando operation. “Would there have been no resistance at all, had these people in the Frequence Plus’ facilities not raised the tone “, he argued as a viable explanation for the violence against Ambroise Ravonison, a reporter and two technicians from the radio station, as well as the destruction of the studio’s hardware. The Emmo Reg’s commander believes the action to have been justified since the legalistic leader has previously been wanted for various motives like the makeshift bombs case of the organization of non authorized political meeting. “We had already been following him by bike, but we lost him… Then, a telephone call warned us on Saturday that Ambroise Ravonison was inside the Frequence Plus’ recording studio “. Colonel Ravalomanana is having a hard job while trying to convince that the operation couldn’t be avoided. He described the political objector as a dangerous and hard to track down fugitive. But the show must go on. According to the Emmo Reg’s commander, the use of force was inevitable on Saturday. “The warning shots were meant to deter since mobs were increasingly growing in number”, he said. Although the concerned military’s original regiments have not been revealed by colonel Ravalomanana, hardly anyone believes it to be a classical police operation. The HAT is used to resort to its political police in such cases. However, Lt. col. Lylson is easy to intervene, and doesn’t intervene in civilian clothes. The involvement of “militians” paid by one of the transition regime’s barons has been rejected by colonel Ravalomanana. They would officially simply be police forces.
