A week after his appointment, Antananarivo's special delegation president, Edgard Razafindravahy is clearing for action.

The capital city’s new PDS is straining to seduce the population

He wants to restore order in the streets of the capital city, repair roads, resume the reconstruction of the city hall, as well as turning the city’s lights on again. The new PDS of Antananarivo, who also endorse the mayor’s suit, is getting a move on in order to bring in changes, as quickly as possible, to the capital city’s visual aspect; mostly because he knows that his political future is likely to be up to his success or his failure.

Within the incoming days, the town hall’s new team is going to begin removing merchants from the capital city’s center. Particular measures have, besides, been taken to rid Antananarivo city of its a few 200 tons of daily garbage. This operation is being logistically supported by the ministry in charge of decentralization and the regional development.

Edgard Razafindravahy’s team must improve the capital city’s look in one record time. It is the best way for the PDS to insure a crucial sympathy in a city in which this business man is far from being the most famous figure.

In order to emphasize his will to get closer to the population, Edgard Razafindravahy increases his assessment visits on the ground. As an example, he has recently been through the backstreets of the Andranomanalina popular district in order to assess the population’s daily reality.
