The most beautiful beaches of Antsiranana

Beaches surroundings the town of Antsiranana are really a must.  On other sea shores swimming might be prohibited because of a possibility of existence of sharks or because of the reefs.  Undoubtedly, the beach of Ramena, 20 kilometers from the city, is particularily visited during the public holidays.  The sea is indeed great for swimmers or if you just want to wet your feets.  The sight is also splendid.  The beach of Ramena offers a great panoramic view on the whole of Antsiranana bay.  Not far from there, other balneal sites are also accessible:  the bay of the dunes, the bay of the pigeons and the bay of sakalava, ideal place for the practice of water sports.
