The presidential elections will have to take place on October 25th

As a result to the ejection of several candidates prompted by the International Community and executed by the Electoral Court, the Electoral Commission in charge of the organization of elections issued the electoral schedule. The presidential election’s first round will develop on October 25th. Its knock out round together with legislative elections will come true on December 20th. Envoys sent by the International Contact Group led by Joaquim Chissano, mediator in chief and former Mozambican president, is currently supporting the on going process on the ground, in spite of the growing grudge from quite a large part of the national political class
