The rainy season late again in Madagascar’s central highlands

The first raindrops used to appear together with October’s beginning, but not in this year. Rice fields’ owners are already complaining around Antananarivo.

Their genuine reason is, however, the reduction of water pressure artificially supplied by the national company.  The JIRAMA is now being sensitizing the population on drawbacks resulting from wasting water
