The religious leaders’ intended March forbidden

No one knows whether clerics are going to keep on with their march meant to take place on Saturday or not, following the ban to enter the Mahamasina stadium. The local authorities suggested Antsonjombe, north of the capital city center, as a suitable and available area for the gathering. 

It is not the very first authorization denial targeting any movement inclined to support former president Marc Ravalomanana inside the Mahamasina stadium. 

In expectation of Saturday’s “procession” and ceremony, the religious leaders organized on Thursday February 18th, a worshipping ceremony and a fasting day in some of the capital city’s temples.
