The “Rova” to be renovated next year

The “Rova”, the old Queen’s Palace is one of the greatest historical monument of Madagascar. Located on the highest hill of Antananarivo, the palace is ideal for a sightseeing tour of the Capital. The Rova hosted an important museum with rare objects of historical importance. Most of it has been destroyed in November 1995 when the palace took fire. Its rehabilitation have been awaited since then. Marc Ravalomanana, has promised to do it in one year. A call for offers have been opened. A collect for funding a national level is to be setup. The Rova, once reopened, should provide a new visage to the malagasy capital.
