The transition´s parliament has to organize a special session from February 14th on, in order to address an amnesty bill draft, for the SADC renewed its emphatic requirement of an amnesty bill to be passed before February 29th , as the outcome of its meeting held during the latest week end in Cape Town, South Africa. Such a bill is expected to allow former President Marc Ravalomanana, sentenced by the HAT´s Justice right after its putsch of March 2009, to recover home soil as a free man.

The SADC puts pressure in favor of an amnesty for Marc Ravalomanana, the parliament addresses the issue in a session

The High Authority of Transition has indeed made its reluctance to grant any amnesty to Ravalomanana crystal clear, following its leader´s example, as Andry Rajoelina stated his opposition to Madagascar´s former president´s pending return home from exile in South Africa. The crisis settlement roadmap drawn by the SADC, jointly signed and accepted by the whole of the Malagasy forces as the single possible way out of from the dead end, just as so clearly insures each and every Malagasy political figure held in exile on political incentives with the right to recover home soil.
