Tourism: a delegation from the “Emirates Airline” in Madagascar

A delegation of the “Emirates” airline is in the country. That delegation is led by the Vice-President of the company in charge of Asia and the Indian Ocean, Sheikh Majid Al Mualla. Accompanied by two of his colleagues, Mr. Sheikh Majid Al Mualla was received on Monday by Tourism Minister, Jean Max Razafimamonjy. Making Madagascar a new tourist destination among all the countries collaborating with the airline, such is the main purpose of the survey conducted by the delegation.

Investment opportunities, there are so many in Madagascar according to Sheickh Majid Al Mualla. “Certainly, in current times, we are still prospecting but we know that we already see some interesting points in the Great Island,” said Mr. Mualla, apparently very optimistic about the projects they intend to develop. In addition to the airline, the delegation also plans to invest in hotel infrastructure as pointed out by the Tourism Minister.

According to Oomar Ramtoola, Manager of the company for the Indian Ocean Islands, these projects sponsored by the United Arab Emirates will bring great opportunity to the Great Island in that in “the company’s 115 destinations will help diversify the tourism market in Madagascar.” In addition, he indicated that their air fleet is currently composed of 166 aircrafts and in the 10 years to come the company will have 240 more. Such important partners are welcome to Madagascar. Hopefully, the trip of the “Emirates airline” delegation in the country will be fruitful.
