The number of tourists having made for Madagascar has enjoyed a plus 20% increase during the first four months of the year, compared to the same period in 2009.

Tourist flow slightly on the rise in the Great Isle

 

 

Professionals are recovering hope anew although nothing is yet to be held for granted. 

The hotel rooms booking rate is now fluctuating between 30% and 50%, a poor score for tourism operators. So much more is being required for long term expections.  

The sector’s fragility is no more denied. Since 2009, the political crisis has been taking a significant toll from tourism professionals. Many hotels have been pushed to lay workers off or to shut doors.
