One Kilogram of HAT rice would cost some 1180 Ariary, against 1400 Ariary per kilogram of locally produced rice. 12.000 tons are nevertheless irrelevant compared to the countrywide 2,5 millions of tons of consumed rice.

The authorities´ goal would be a gradual decrease of rise prices, as these have been raising on end during the latest months throughout the country.
