Reporters in expectation of their trial, Zakariasy Patrick still behind bars
The in depth investigation of Zarkariasy Patrick’s case took place as expected on November 21st. Two reporters, namely Zo Rakotoseheno from the MIDI MADAGASIKARA group, and Rocco Rasoanaivo from LA NATION, developed their stand before the judge during a little longer than a hour. All they have to do now is waiting for the trial’s date. The incriminating press conference’s author, the Tangalamena born Zakariasy Patrick, remains where he now is, namely behind bars. His cross examination came true a few days prior to that of the mentioned reporters. L'enquête au fond concernant l'affaire Zakariasy Patrick a eu lieu le 21 novembre. Deux journalistes, à savoir Zo Rakotoseheno de Midi Madagasikara, et Rocco Rasoanaivo de La Nation, ont été entendus par le juge d'instruction pendant un peu plus d'une heure. Ils attendent maintenant la date du procès. L'auteur de la conférence de presse, le Tangalamena Zakariasy Patrick, lui, reste en prison. Son enquête a eu lieu discrètement quelques jours avant celle des journalistes. Rappelons que c'est un homme d'affaires proche du président de la Transition qui a porté plainte quand il a été cité par Zakariasy comme étant impliqué dans une vaste affaire d'exportation illégale de bois de rose. The HMF’s parsons in for another round!
The Movement of Clerical Leaders and its parsons called upon believers to massively join a gathering on November, 24th in Antsahamanitra. Were scheduled: prayers for the nation, and the sharing of information. It was an occasion for the Hetsiky ny Mpitondra Fivavahana to recover the initiative. The movement’s parsons do keep on denouncing widespread injustice undermining the country’s development. The slaughter of civilians in the South was emphatically criticized, and the HMF even drew evidences out. Un autre rassemblement est organisé par les pasteurs du Mouvement des Leaders religieux le 24 novembre à Antsahamanitra. Au programme: culte pour la nation et échange d'information. C'est une manière pour le Hetsiky ny Mpitondra Fivavahana de remettre les pendules à l'heure. Les pasteurs du Mouvement continuent de dénoncer les injustices qui prévalent dans le pays. The capital city’s urban transportation companies go on strike
Nearly everything in Antananarivo is going mad, for urban transport companies went on strike. Less than half of their fleet kept on working on November 20th. The transportation companies gathered into the Trade Union of Urban Transportation Companies required the Director of the Land Transportation department to step down on the basis of conflict on interests. Transporteurs en grève dans la capitale
C'était le désordre total, à Antananarivo, à la suite de la grève des transporteurs urbains. A peine le quart des véhicules de transport en commun ont travaillé, durant la journée du 20 novembre. Les transporteurs groupés au sein de l'Union des Coopératives et du Transport Urbain ont réclamé le départ du Directeur Général du Transport terrestre. Ils l'accusent de conflit d'intérêt.
