For sure it is paradoxical. Madagascar´s southern regions are far more famed for being dry. In the beginning of this year, rain is however the one devastating this region.
Tulear city was the first victim. In mid January, the south western region´s capital city was drowned by rainwater. The dam separating the city from the Fierenana river is being threatened.
