Andry Rajoelina received Neil Bush at the palace of Iavoloha

In the wake of his return from a private trip abroad, the President of the HAT, Andry Rajoelina, immediately got back to his activities. Actually, he received yesterday a powerful American investor who is operating in the fields of Industry and Finance. This powerful investor, who is no one else but the brother of the former American President, George Walker Bush, comes to the Great Island for the first time. During that visit, he was accompanied by his close associates.

Following the meeting with Andry Rajoelina, which lasted over an hour, Neil Bush said he is particularly interested in the development of private sectors in Africa. “I came for the first time in Madagascar in order to prospect investment opportunities in the Great Island. Besides, I am particularly attentive to the efforts of the President of Madagascar and the private sector to further develop that sector”, he affirmed. Neil Bush also stated that he hopes to be able to contribute to the development of Malagasy and foreign companies working in Madagascar, although for the moment, no concrete projects have yet been set. Many observers have raised questions about the significance of the visit of such a prominent American investor in the country, at a time when the American government does not yet recognize the current regime.
