Malagasy magistrates’ trade union is being pissed off. Judges have been going on strike countrywide since Monday

Antananarivo city’s magistrates back to work after a 3 days long strike

After 3 days of strikes, the capital city’s magistrates decided to resume working at least during a couple of days, mainly in order to settle issues supposed to have been settled during the striking period.

Could their claims fail from being heard, namely financial claims basically promised by the dictating power, these magistrates are intending to resume the strike in the incoming days, which has however not been interrupted in the regions

Since the movement’s beginning, magistrates led by their union’s president Marius August, are regularly demonstrating in front of the Antananarivo’s Supreme Court’s facilities
