Attempts in Antananarivo: absurd condemnations

Whoever wants to kill his dog states that it is enraged. For the legalistic block, the High Authority of Transition currently looks for the best way “to decapitate” the support movement for Marc Ravalomanana. And accusations of some leaders and exiled president’s near collaborators would be a step to that end.  

One legalistic movement’s major figure, Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro, definitely denied the involvement of Ravalomanana’s supporter either in the hand made bomb attempt projects of the weekend, or in the raid on Viva channel station headquarters belonging to the young putschist Andry Rajoelina.    

In the same way, Zafilahy Stanislas, former deputy and devoted animator of the support demonstration for Marc Ravalomanana, emphasized that the legalistic movement has always been pacific.  

The too quickly formulated condemnations from the police led by a certain colonel Richard Ravalomanana, in charge of the investigation, naturally shocked the legalistic party. No name has been mentioned by the colonel in his first press conference, less than 24 hours after the incidents. 

Some channels close the High Authority of Transition went however as far as openly designating Marc Ravalomanana’s former collaborators. The ex-secretary General of Madagascar Action Plan, Andry Ralijaona has been mentioned by a private radio channel as one of the backers of the bomb attempts, and now turns into the state police’s sight.    

A slightly suspect condemnation. All those close to Andry Ralijaona are persuaded that it is a young skilful technician, laden with impressive diplomas, “unable to kill a fly “.  

His mistake was undoubtedly to have collaborated with Marc Ravalomanana “until the end” and to vigorously oppose the Putsch of mid-March, by suggesting to the population not to pay taxes to a putschist government for example. On Viva channel, four months ago, animators already asked for the arrest of Ralijaona. His home has already been searched, an arrest was planed, but in his absence on the spot, the HAT soldiers took his father away by force.
