The Citizens´Union for Reconcilement is convinced that Malagasy and foreign mediators would not be going the right way. This Union is made of various politicians, clerics, consultants in several fields of expertise, and of a major part of former colleagues of Raymond Ranjeva, a former judge at the Hague´s International Court. This figure has long been pushing for the erection of a new transition as the solution to the crisis in Madagascar
