As being merely engaged, the "consensual" Transition is getting lost in contradictions and controversies. The taste of defeat is even hinted by some partisans of the Andry Rajoelina mobility.

Desire Ramakavelo speaks of a “defeat for the popular struggle”

According to the member of the High Authority of Transition, Desire Ramakavelo, Power sharing between the different political mobilities is the same as a “defeat for the popular struggle”. For this retired general, the demonstrations demanding the departure of Marc Ravalomanana have been cast aside.

“This Additional Act reminds the appendix added to the agreement between France and Madagascar in 1885, which subsequently led to war between both nations in 1895, due to each and everyone’s own free interpretation.” affirmed Desire Ramakavelo, visibly unsatisfied by the power sharing agreement.

In clear, Desire Ramakavelo is dreading a predictable malfunction of the new Transition , as that of a similar famous roman triumvirate. A misunderstanding on top of the Transition would only lead to difficulties, according to him.

The interpretations of the additional act signed in Addis-Ababa could be the first problem according to Ramakavelo. The most important is to find the way to smooth connection between the Transition’s president and both of its Co presidents, which is not the world’s easiest thing since today’s collaborators used to be yesterday’s rivals.

The power sharing agreement meant a true set back for at least a fringe of the Rajoelina mobility, previously intending all alone the Transition until the advent of the fourth Republic and, especially, until a presidential election without Marc Ravalomanana.
