The national unity Prime minister is being sharply criticized by the partisans of the the Transition's president following his refusal to attend a Cabinet meeting unexpectedly held in the palace of Iavoloha.

Eugene Mangalaza roared by the pro-Rajoelina

The new Prime minister has been displaying a certain will not to collaborate with the outgoing ministers of the High Authority of Transition since his appointment. Eugene Mangalaza preferred to address directly the ministries’ secretary generals.

The Prime minister refused to get involved in one Cabinet meeting initiated by Andry Rajoelina on Thursday November 26th for the sake of respect. According to Eugene Managalaza, far reaching decisions logically have to wait for the delayed erection of the new government.

Mangalaza’s attitude is quite poorly received by Rajoelina’s supporters. Their leader had effectively and publicly stated that, for lack of any new government, the current staff had better keep on working. Eugene Mangalaza and the other political mobilities implied in the Maputo and Addis Ababa agreements do not necessarily buy the idea.

According to the supporters of the Transition’s president, Andry Rajoelina, the Prime minister’s unwillingness to collaborate with the outgoing ministers is contributing to the current stumbling block. The Prime minister has even been challenged by the president of the Transition concerning the delay of the new ministers’ appointment. Eugene Mangalaza yet knows that this delay is a matter of lack of consensus between political mobility leaders.
