Théophile Ramanandraibe and Jacques Harris Harijaona moved. They left on June 30th the jail of Antanimora to join the military camp of Manjakandriana 45 kilometers to the East of Antananarivo. Both officers who collaborated closely with Prime Minister Manandafy Rakotonirina, appointed by the president in exile Marc Ravalomanana, wait for their lawsuit in a military camp while retaining their status of convicts.

The head of the army appointed by the High Authority of the Transition, colonel André Ndriarijaona, came himself in person to collect the officers at the Antanimora jail’s doors, a document from the court of Antananarivo allowing the” transfer ” in the hands.

This concerns the application of the recent military assemblies’s resolutions which aim at  the reunification of the Madagascan army. The participants evoked the case of both jailed colonels remained in jail because of the political crisis of 2009.

The arrest of both officers constitutes though a genuine sign of division in the army since last mid-March’s Coup. In addition to these two jailed officers, other generals and colonels suspected to have dealt too much with Marc Ravalomanana withered. Some would even be already out of the Great Isle to avoid retaliation.
