Madagascar participates in the Indo-African Summit

The Great Island is among the countries that are invited to participate in the indo-African Summit which is taking place in Mumbai, India, from February 1 until February 15, 2011. The purpose of this summit is to strengthen the ties existing between India and some African countries in diverse areas such as economics, politics, science, technology, research and development, tourism, social development, energy and environment, and even the media and communication. The first initiative of this summit began three years ago, in 2008, in New Delhi with a multidimensional summit where it was decided to hold the meeting every three years.
