The ban on whatever flight taking the former president back to the Great Isle has been lifted, according to sources close to Madagascar´s Civilian Aviation. The ban was actually a violation of the crisis settlement roadmap and the ruling power finally gave in to the international community´s pressure

Marc Ravalomanana « authorized » to return to Madagascar

Different sources even argue that Omer Beriziky, the prime minister, has not been told a thing about this ban for a while. The move would have been dared by officials cooperating with Andry Rajoelina, the transitional leader. Marc Ravalomanana is from now on legally allowed to recover home soil after three years spent in exile in South Africa as a result of the year 2009´s putsch. Rajoelina´s hard liners are not yet bound to let him return at all. The ousted president´s supporters are however massively expecting this come back after his surprising fall, three years ago
