The names of those who embezzled the cash will be made public very soon, said Marc Ravalomanana through a phone line intervention during a week end rally in the legality square.
He has, shortly before, already announced that his time’s defence minister has been in charge of distributing the prime bonuses dedicated to the army and the police forces. The political situation yet led to a mutiny of the armed forces, and to a putsch in March 2009. Confusion had followed suit. The present military officials, most of them being former rebellious officers, obviously denied Marc Ravalomanana’s statements.
Revelations of that kind have already driven Fort Duchesnes’ state police to display its malcontent. Some officers have been investigated.
