“Masimihanta Project”: Eau Vive, Bekoto and Gwen Rakotovao supporting disadvantaged children

In 2011, Gwen Rakotovao, an international dancer and choreographer initiated the humanitarian and cultural project called “Masimihanta”. For the second edition of the project this year, Eau Vive and Bekoto joined Gwen Rakotovao to organize and support the “Masimihanta 2012”.

This year the project was specially targeted to the disadvantaged children and orphans living in orphanage, and it consisted in providing those children with dance training sessions that lasted a week. The main objective of such training is to introduce the children with a new form of self expression and to arouse in them the curiosity to discover new horizons.

During “Masimihanta 2012”, more than 150 children from Antananarivo and Mahajanga benefited from the training sessions. The sessions hit its official close on Sunday September 30 during which the disadvantaged children performed before an audience to show what they have acquired during the training. As official sponsor, Eau Vive is strongly committed to supporting such humanitarian and cultural event and promised to bring its contribution on the next edition of the project.
