In response to general Richard Ravalomanana´s led "manipulations" and "deterrents", Me Hanitra Razafimanantsoa was expressively specified that her client, Tojo Ravalomanana is in no way compelled to oblige even though being summoned to surrender. She regretted the Emmo Reg´s general´s challenge of his own political superiors as well as his rather laughable legal excuse for sake of arresting the exiled president's son.

Me Razafimanantsoa tells the Emmo Reg´s general off

The general Richard Ravalomanana failed in his attempt to arrest Tojo Ravalomanana and Ferry Jones. Neither president Ravalomanana´s son nor the South-African businessman felt like having a taste of a call in at the state police station in Betongolo, the purgatory for the HAT´s political prisoners. Me Hanitra Razafimanantsoa confronted the Emmo Reg in the press and gave it a piece of her mind.

“How does general Richard Ravalomanana dare declaring to have no orders from the transitional leader or from the Prime minister to obey, and that he´s allowed to arrest whoever he wants with or, in this case without a warrant issued by a judge?!  vociferated the Ravalomanana family´s lawyer, the one of the president. Me Hanitra Razafimanantsoa carried on with a short law course for the self sufficient Emmo Reg´s general about the issue. Only the prosecutor´s office, the district attorney and the assistant district attorney are entitled to sign any such warrant, knowing that these civil servants are bound by the hierarchy, reminded the lawyer to the general.

Me Hanitra Razafimanantsoa stoke back and tore the Emmo Reg´s general´s attempt to skirt around his responsibility behind the TGV´s justice minister into pieces. “There is no superminister here, merely a Prime minister as the administration´s leader, and the minister must obey him “. Mrs. Christine Razanamahasoa declared indeed that there would be not any political prisoners in Madagascar, for offenses merely happened to be committed by politicians. Would the justice minister and the Emmo Reg´s general be willing to do it together again? The misuse of justice as a political weapon is likely to last a little longer within this crisis.

Andry Rajoelina accepted to leave Tojo Ravalomanana alone, somehow as a concession to the Ravalomanana sphere in the name of the appeasement. Me Razafimanantsoa did not spare him for so much. “The president of this transition is supposed to be someone with a shadow of authority, supposed to have the control over his men”, she declared. Directly challenging the general Ravalomanana, she declared: “quit deterrents, quit troubling people´s minds “.

Richard Ravalomanana stepped over the line when manipulating the press. The Tojo Ravalomanana-Ferry Jones case greatly damaged what´s left of his credit as he tried to challenge his own superiors. The exiled president´s son and his business partner came to Madagascar to assess the pending recovery of the Tiko factories, namely in Sambaina. Rajoelina´s supporters are actually terrified by the likely return of the exiled president itself. Didier Ratsiraka´s return previously prepared by one of his sons Xavier was already hard enough to swallow, hence the craze of arresting the admiral in order to deter Marc Ravalomanana from emulating.
