Morondava, beautiful capital of the Menabe

Lots of sun.  At the beginning of winter season, the capital of Menabe invites you for a the walk and holiday.  The image of the sand streets of the town of Morondava in which the shoes of the pedestrians dive at each step is unforgettable for the holiday makers.  Morondava is a city full of Muslim presence, taking into account the significant number of immigrants on this western area of Madagascar.  The city is also marked by colonization, through its old constructions.  Morondava, in particular, and the Menabe area in general, are in addition inseparable from the famous baobab tree which makes the fame of this western part of the Large Island.  The baobab trees make up the splendid sceneries of the region but allows, in same time, to taste a particularly natural fruit juice.  Very few people had the possibility of tasting it.  Morondava is accessible by car, in spite of a section of road in bad condition.  The city is also served regularly by Air Madagascar.
