In spite of the aggression against his own self, Rajaonah Andrianjaka, president of the Otrikafo party openly expressed his views about Madagascar’s current situation. So read Sunday’s phone line talks with him on June 20th.

Rajaonah Andrianjaka: The removal of Andry Rajoelina is the solution

Madonline (M): Your home has been raided on the day following Whitsunday, how are you doing?

Rajaonah Andrianjaka (RA): I’m now out of from the hospital and I’m doing all right. As a matter of fact, a couple of individuals raided us on the day following Whitsunday. They beat me to death, but ran away shortly before reaching their goal. They didn’t steal anything. I’m holding them als musclemen sent by the Franceafrica since we, the Otrikafo party, are still opposing the current power.

M: How about the Otrikafo party’s position now?

RA: We have to recover our history books to this end. The Otrikafo party has long been holding June 26th (the Malagasy national day) as a fake independence day. As a matter of fact, none of those who fought for independence under the MDRM colors were empowered by that time, but rather those from the PADESM (later named PDS). France has conceded nothing but a virtual independence to a colonial outpost still devoted to the defence of the motherland’s interests until now.

Our colonization process had two faces. From 1896 to 1946, Madagascar was France’s garden. From 1958 to now, Madagascar was France’s tool. France is now alone straining to support the current transitional regime led by Rajoelina defending its colonial interests. No wonder that Pretoria I was meant to enforce the acceptation of Alain Joyandet’s roadmap offered to Andry Rajoelina

M: According to you, how long left to the end of this crisis?

RA: Much longer than expected. Its roots are actually located beyond Madagascar’s borders, that is to say the traditional rivalry between Anglo-Saxon and French models. The Anglo Saxons are supporting the SADC, the former president Marc Ravalomanana and the whole of the international community, while the Frenchies are supporting  Rajoelina’s led HAT

M: Any solution to settle this crisis?

RA: Removing Rajoelina and his clique from the transitional leadership is the single viable solution to this crisis engulfing the Malagasy nation. How to complete this? Let the people get ready to massively recover the place of May 13th again, the people has to find out new leaders since it’ s so far been fooled.

M: Any more message?

RA: I’m addressing the expatriated Malagasy citizens. I’m paying tribute to your struggle against dictatorship in Madagascar. Do not leave home based strugglers alone, but let us build up a new society, a new policy and a new orientation far from the Franceafrica which has been burdening our country for so many decades.
