Rise of transportation fares: presumably after the start of the school year

Following the successive rises of the fuel prices in recent time, talks about a probable rise of the transportation fares are looming in the social life of the local population. In the mean time, the Union of transporters and the authority in charge of transportation in Madagascar are hesitating in taking an inevitable decision that the population will surely receive with great anger and frustration.

Among the population, there is a constant demand for the delaying of such rise. Some people, for instance, stated that if the rise of the transportation fare is really inevitable, the government should seek an arrangement to maintain the current price until after the start of the school year. Actually, parents think that with all the expenses that they have to make regarding school materials, tuitions and fees, an immediate rise of the transportation fares would just be an additional burden to them.
