Following the foregone thwarting of the Pretoria meeting, the authoritarian regime's leader reconfirmed his determination to go forward with the unilateral capitalization of his elections whatever it takes. Andry Rajoelina is keen on drawing a transition undernmined by the crisis to an end. He wants to impose a fake recovery of constitutional order in Madagascar, first to the Malagasy, then to the international community. The plane B of the HAT presents an electoral calendar featured during the year 2010's second half

Schedule finally revealed: the HAT is dying for elections

Andry Rajoelina stated a roadmap supported by an electoral calendar meant to draw the transition to an end. “Talks are over” he said. Doors would allegedly not be closed to the other mobilities provided they give in to his rules. To those remaining unwilling to do so, ye be warned. “Measures will be taken against whoever intending to oppose or sabotage our elections”, declared the HAT leader. He added that “the crisis would have long been settled, had the transition not been sabotaged”.

The HAT led unilateral elections are meant to take place in the run of the year 2010’s second half. Next to the constitutional referendum meant to be held in April, the electoral struggle would be the legislative elections. Since France had been proposing or imposing its vision to Andry Rajoelina, he has turned significantly cooler concerning the erection of a constituent assembly. On July 01st, 2010, the voters will be officially called upon making for polling stations on Friday October 01st to “symbolically” deliver their ballots. It is apparently is well the 4th Republic’s first national assembly. A constitution ought to be voted in August 2010.

The HAT logic remains confusing because of political calculation. The proposals and critiques stemming from all the other political groupings by the Rajoelina mobility are calling upon the presidential election to be held in priority. The present authoritarian regime would be entitled to a stronger grip on power through a devoted Parliament. Besides, Andry Rajoelina himself repeatedly argued that legislative elections would be the suitable way to rate the political balance.

Voters would be called upon voting for a president on July 16th, 2010. Would the presidential campaign influence the legislative sway? The opposite question is not to be left behind: would the legislative results influence the presidential elections to be held six weeks after their publication? On Wednesday November 17th, 2010, the voters would vote the 4th Republic’s first ever president. A more than likely second tour would take place on Friday December 17th.

Andry Rajoelina insisted on getting a move on, while defending France’s remixed roadmap. The authoritarian regime’s leader is feeling no shame from being labeled as such, for being devoted to corruption and imposition. “the 4th Republic must be institute, the transition and the elections will be over by the end of this year”. Do take notice of the choice of “magnificent Friday” and Wednesday as polling dates. During four poorly paid days off work, the elections will have their economic price
