The anti HAT demonstrators are convinced that the exiled president will be back to Madagascar before National Day on June 26th.

The defenders of legality expect Marc Ravalomanana’s return before June 26th

Marc Ravalomanana would be bound to return to celebrate the National Day in Antananarivo. The defenders of legality are convinced of that now. Therefore, large scale manifestations of the exiled president’s supporters took place on the Magro Place of Ankorondrano.

The anti HAT stream reached a new score peek on last June 6th. Parades started from city districts to make for Ankorondrano. Many demonstrators could hardly penetrate the soon overcrowded Magro Place to listen to the movement leaders.

The Transition’s backers do fear Marc Ravalomanana’s return by the National Day; hence did the “de facto authorities” condemn the president re-elected in December 2006

Marc Ravalomanana’s trial has become to that day one of the High Authority of Transition’s priority. Following the condemnation concerning the acquirement of presidential jumbo jet “Air Force one 2”, the investigation of the lot embankment by the “route Digue” is on course. This series of condemnations aim to deter as the HAT is keen on arresting Marc Ravalomanana in case of an eventual return to Madagascar.

The HAT’s Justice Minister did specify that the arrest warrant would be executed if the exiled president turns in Madagascar.

For Marc Ravalomanana’s supporters, the president’s condemnation only gets the crisis stuck. The delegates of the legalistic side at the international community led negotiations defined that the dialogue is blocked by lack of compromise over Marc Ravalomanana’s return to Madagascar.
