Diplomats in charge in Antananarivo are beginning to react to the speech produced by Andry Rajoelina during the latest ceremony in Iavoloha with quite sharp criticism towards the International Community. A meeting took place at the United Nations’ Development Program’s headquarters in the capital city. Not a single shadow of a leak from this rather swift event could be captured. Meanwhile, the transitional leader was unexpectedly summoned by the SADC to join Dar Es Salaam, where the regional organization equally has its meeting.

The diplomatic body reacts to Rajoelina’s words in Iavoloha.

Andry Rajoelina being summoned to join Dar Es Salaam happens to be quite a strong message. Let us see whether he got it into his thick skull. The SADC’s Troika is in meeting for a couple of days in the Tanzanian capital city and did basically not plan to invite the Malagasy ruling power’s leader. His latest “revolutionary” speech produced in Iavoloha must have not been to the International Community’s liking. Andry Rajoelina actually bragged that he could and would do without the International Community’s support, as he has been doing during the latest four years. The Malagasy Opposition held it as a declaration of war against an International Community which now goes over to retaliation. During the ceremony which developed in Iavoloha, the diplomatic body’s dean refrained from uttering a word.
