The four main Churches’ top leaders displayed to the press the FFKM’s will to commit to its new mediation process to the end. From each of the political groups to be consulted, the FFKM asked for a financial contribution amounting to Ar 300 000 or about Euros 100. Some 180 political groups may expect to be involved and have their say in the run of the arranged meeting deemed to take place at the International Conference Center in Ivato. The FFKM’s conference, supposed to become the starting point to a brand new mediation process into the Malagasy crisis, will take place while Joaquim Chissano, the Mozambican former president and acting leader of the SADC’s mediation staff, visits Antananarivo, namely from April 15th to 19th. How things will consequently develop might prove interesting, bearing in mind that the SADC officially sticks to the capitalization of a Roadmap, signed in September 2011, but considered by the FFKM as unlikely to settle the political dispute’s hard core
