the interior ministry running short of money to complete the national identification card distribution operation

the development of the situation will closely depend on the amount of money to be granted to the interior ministry. This ministerial department happens to be merely one of those urgently craving for financial support in the run of the electoral preparations. The national state police department equally required some 14 billions of local Ariary to secure the whole process. The Electoral Commission and the National Unity Government have not considered this request at all.  The very completion of truly fair and believable elections on the island is for the time being everything but a done deal, although the presidential elections’ knock out round is supposed to take place within four months. The financial support granted by foreign partners to the electoral process proves not yet enough to cover the expenses.
