Former President Marc Ravalomanana solemnly expressed his point about the incoming presidential elections, first round of which would begin on October 25th. And he is not the only one. Many other political groups equally oppose the elections, and get ready for action

The Opposition in for opposing the elections

Marc Ravalomanana made it clear when addressing his supporters that the presidential election is nowhere near to be as accepted by everyone as the international mediation has been expecting it to be since 2009. So does the ousted president become the leader of the opposition front challenging the incoming presidential elections. The former president preferred the boycott to any eventual support to any of the 33 candidates left. Besides, various other figures linked to various other political groups, including two other former presidents, namely Albert Zafy and Didier Ratsiraka, sensibly expressed the same point. Didier Ratsiraka’s official position is yet to be made public. As for the International Community, it keeps on diving headlong into the electoral process the way it is. Still, the SADC’s troika is expecting to address the issue again on September 11th
