In different regions of Madagascar as well as in the capital city, the partisans of the three political mobilities are clearing for a long struggle against the team of the High Authority of Transition.

The three anti-Rajoelina mobilities are getting ready to shake the HAT

Occasional or not, the Alliance is definitely clearing for action, for the time being. There comes the rise of political mobilities implied in the negotiations of Maputo, but currently looked down by Andry Rajoelina, president of the High Authority of Transition.

Some anti-HAT demonstrations are, henceforth, on the verge of breaking in many cities of Madagascar. Mobilities Albert Zafy, Didier Ratsiraka and Marc Ravalomanana definitely decided to join forces to put pressure on Andry Rajoelina and on his Prime minister, Monja Roindefo.

The setting up of the new Monja Roindefo government is the main source of dispute. The HAT “national union” government has been actually rejected by the three other mobilities which signed up to the Maputo charter and agreements.

“The HAT has ceased to exist on September 09th” declared Albert Zafy, quite keen on reminding that the Transition’s charter has planned the erection of all institutions within the month following the signature of agreements.

It sounds the same from Fetison Andrianirina, the Marc Ravalomanana mobility spokesman. At the time of a TV debate on the international day for democracy, Fetison Andrianirina definitely refused to call Monja Roindefo “Prime minister”.

At present, all three anti-Rajoelina mobilities are echoing the same idea and adopting a common strategy. Albert Zafy gave an ultimatum: the Rajoelina mobility has up to September 20th to return to the negotiation table, in order to comply with the Maputo agreements. After this deadline, political tensions could well become tenser than ever so far.
