After a short time out of action, the political mobilities opposed to the High Authority of Transition are resuming street demonstrations their opposition to Andry Rajoelina's acts.

The three mobilities back in the streets again

A demonstration was allowed to take place close to the Mahamasina garden on Saturday January 30th. The anti-HAT movement’s leaders were able to express their speeches without repression from security forces.

The three mobilities’ leaders are calling upon their partisans to join the place of Reconciliation this week again in Anosy. “Claims will be emphasized” confirmed the former deputy, Zafilahy Stanislas. He argued that parliamentarians previously supposed to integrate the late Transition’s Convention will be more active on the ground.

Andry Rajoelina keeps on swearing by his legislative elections as the lone solution to settle the crisis. Prior to the consultation of voters, the three mobilities are firmly sticking to a “consensual” and “inclusive” management of the transitional period. To this end, the national unity government and the capitalization of institutions pledged by the Maputo and Addis-Ababa agreements will be compulsory.
