The TIM party is taking the same path as the AREMA’s one in 2002. A pocket size “Putsch” is being undertaken to grant the party’s presidency to Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro, as well as the opportunity to claim the party’s face at the congress or at the transitional national assembly. Mamy Rakotoarivelo, one the Ravalomanana sphere’s officials strongly rejected the process.

TIM: doubts on Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro’s presidency

Mamy Rakotoarivelo had to emphasize the exiled president’s statement which denied recognition, legitimacy and legality to the process aiming at dividing the TIM party and separating it from its basic political sphere. Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro is in no way entitled to convene a national council. Only the party’s president, namely the former Senate’s president Yvan Randrianasandratriniony is. Mamy Rakotoarivelo expressed his doubts concerning these regional advisors supposed to make the national council, since no region succeeded in electing any party official.

According to Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro, his national council was made of 19 TIM party regional presidents out of 23, TIM Europe being the region number 23. Scepticism is allowed since these 19 representatives unanimously elected him as the party’s new deputy president. Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro estimated that serious  violations have occurred on top of a party, as an excuse for this process. His action remains however very much doubtful.

Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro simply convened a national council to be elected as the party’s president. It sounds like an attempt to bring the party’s face into the political deal patched up by the Rajoelina sphere. “Mr Randrianantoandro already signed the deal with the pro TGV parties prior to trying to cease power within the TIM party!” denounced a member of the Young TIM Party department. “Thus, he might well draw satisfaction for a pending nomination at the congress’ presidency, but the party is going to lose much in it, namely by having to share with many more ones”.

The TIM party’s on going division is  bearing a couple of trends: Marc Ravalomanana and his supporters, calling upon the recovery of the agreements signed in Maputo, and on the opposite corner, Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro and some deputies dying for recovering their positions. The HAT has long been hesitating on trying to convince the TIM party members to turn away from Marc Ravalomanana in order to patch up fake consensus. The political deal signed in Ivato was the offensive’s beginning which put its money on Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro, as a way to isolate president Ravalomanana from his party.

To this end, the former deputy was even spontaneously nominated for the transitional congress’ presidency. However, the plan could succeed only if Raharinaivo Andrianantoandro had been officially declared as the party’s president. Clash within the TIM party. May the Raharinaivo wing still be held as part of the party when it plays the HAT game? Its signature on Ivato’s political deal failed from causing major effects for the HAT. The so-named Malagasy made roadmap is still failing from convincing the Malagasy, not to mention the international community
