Vatomandry : a peaceful boat trip along the Pangalanes channel

The dredging of part of the channel of Pangalanes has started near Toamasina to allow more fluid navigation. Indeed, at some points, the level of water was so low that travelers and goods had to change boats. In Vatomandry, nice bungalows and terraces are built along the edge of the channel and are already snuffed by national and foreign tourists. The channel of Pangalanes constitutes an essential attraction on this part of the Large Island.
