The preparation committee appointed the 44 members of the National Reconciliation Council, locally named Filankevitry ny Fampihavanana Malagasy (FFM). Some names are famed across the island, for example the parson Ramino Paul, Nestor Razafindramanitra and Lalao Randriamampionona. Observers are however not optimistic for so much. Many attempts to settle the political crisis engulfing Madagascar have repeatedly fallen through. Even former president Albert Zafy, who has been advocating national reconciliation for the latest decade in Madagascar, got cast aside from the crisis settlement process. Certains noms sont très connus. pour ne citer que Ramino Paul, Nestor Razafindramanitra et Lalao Randriamampionona. Les observateurs sont plutôt sceptiques.
