The preparation committee appointed the 44 members of the National Reconciliation Council, locally named Filankevitry ny Fampihavanana Malagasy (FFM). Some names are famed across the island, for example the parson Ramino Paul, Nestor Razafindramanitra and Lalao Randriamampionona. Observers are however not optimistic for so much.
