The former Malagasy first lady will be allowed to recover her native island within the next few days, if she wants to, and if she accepts the transitional regime’s leader’s conditions. Lalao Ravalomanana will be allowed to visit her seriously sick mother who has been taken to the hospital some weeks earlier. The transitional leader obviously does not want such a call in from Lalao Ravalomanana to serve any political incentive. She has been remaining abroad in exile in South Africa since Marc Ravalomanana got ousted by a putsch back in 2009.
