On a political crisis background, the Americans are moving with a low profile

The new American embassy is located in Andranomena, Northwest from the capital city. Construction lasted a couple of years. The new facility is complying with the new american diplomatic standards drafted anew for security reasons.  

Comfort and more especially security would have had reached some 110 million US$, but, since the work has been completed few months in advance, 5 million US$ have been successfully saved. 

No crimson ribbon will be cut this time around. The present political crisis background makes no place for such a thing. The Americans restricted to open doors guided visits for the public. The American embassy’s facility, located in Antsahavola, in Antananarivo city’s mid center, will probably be sold out according to ambassador Niels Marquardt.
