The ministry for home security made a list of 25 names public, whose holders are being banned to enter Madagascar. They are all Malagasy nationals, and a couple of them are, curiously, banned to enter a territory on which they already are.

About twenty Madagascans banned to enter Madagascar

The Maputo III summit has led to total shambles. The political situation is getting worse. The High Authority of Transition denied entry on the Malagasy territory to 25 people linked to mobilities recently involved in the latest Maputo leg.

A notice signed by minister Organès Rakotomihantarizaka denied home return to delegations involved in the meeting boycotted by Andry Rajoelina. The minister for home security later justified his decision trough the duty to preserve public order, as well as, to protect delegations against alleged “popular wrath”.

From December 11th on, the ban to enter the Malagasy territory has been directed against Albert Zafy, Fetison Andrianirina, Manandafy Rakotonirina, Emmanuel Rakotovahiny, Eugene Mangalaza, Régis Manoro, Tabera Randriamanantsoa, Ange Andrianarisoa, Azaly Ben Marofo, Baro Rafatrolaza, Dennis Andriamandroso, Marcel Miandrisoa, Serge Radert, Henri Roger Ranaivoson, José Vianey, Roland Ravatomanga, Rakotosoa Ramisandrazana, Marc Ravalomanana, Didier Ratsiraka, Tantely Andrianarivo, Sophie Ratsiraka, Mamy Rakotoarivelo, Yves Aime, Fulgence Fanony and Heritafika Ratsimbazafy.

Three former presidents are, thereupon, currently in forced exile: Marc Ravalomanana, Didier Ratsiraka and Albert Zafy. Here comes the most surprising scene: national unity Transition’s acting institution chiefs are part of the black list, namely the Convention’s President, Mamy Rakotoarivelo, the Transition’s Co Presidents, Fetison Andrianirinas, and Emanuel Rakotovahiny, as well as the national unity Prime minister, Eugene Mangalaza.
