Ambatondrazaka: increase of…ratbites

A couple of people have been so far being bitten by six fingered rats in the Alaotra region. One sleeping family father’s hand was the first victim. The second one was a two years old child’s foot on September 15th 2010 by 6:00 local time. The aggression’s weapon has actually run through his foot as if the culprit was longing for devouring its victim. This occurred in the commune of ANdranokobaka, in  Ambatondrazaka’s district of Andilanatoby. This curious kind of rat has however extended its operation field, as it basically restricted to the commune of Didy. Let it be reminded that Ambatondrazaka’s CSB2  has already provided the boy in question with necessary care, so that his well being is no more endangered. Rabies cases have equally been noticed in this area, which caused one casualty. Vaccination teams visited the affected areas as a consequence. Dr Raveloharisoa Rosette’s basic healthcare center is  now in charge of victims affected by this rather extraordinary event. Dr Raveloharisoa announced on this account that there were sufficient available medicine supplies, and subsequently sensitized the audience concerning hygiene measures as the best weapon against rats. Andranokobaka is a village located 27 miles away from  the Alaotra Mangoro region’s capital city
